Bandaging a handThis three day first aid at work course holds a level 3 certification and is designed to train staff and individuals who need to meet the requirements set out in the First Aid at Work regulations (1981). This is a ProTrainings qualification and this qualification is delivered, evaluated and quality assured to meet the new guidelines set out by the HSE in October 2013 and meet the requirements of the First Aid at Work (First Aid) regulations 1981.

This course is conducted over three days, 18 contact hours. The course is delivered using a variety of teaching methods which include DVD, Power point presentations, lectures and discussions as well as hands on practice, this helps to ensure that information is retained so that on completion of the course the candidates are competent, confident and able to deal with an emergency situation should it arise.

This regulated qualification is provided through an awarding organisation that is recognised and regulated by one of the UK regulators (e.g. Ofqual in England, SQA accreditation in Scotland). The certificate of achievement awarded to successful candidates will contain the logo of RQF Awarding Body for Compliance and the relevant UK regulators along with the full qualification title and number.
